Graduate Studies Unit Responsibilities

  • Monitor the progress of male and female students in postgraduate programs.

  • Oversee the preparation of postgraduate schedules and enter them into the academic system.

  • Supervise course registration (add/drop) for male and female students at the beginning of each semester.

  • Organize and welcome postgraduate students and faculty, and respond to their inquiries.

  • Monitor registration activities and guide students to register in sections specific to their tracks according to their study plan.

  • Supervise academic advising for postgraduate students and enter advisors into the academic system.

  • Monitor the unit’s official email, ensuring prompt responses without delays.

  • Track and prepare reports and databases for postgraduate students.

  • Address challenges faced by postgraduate students and work on finding appropriate solutions.

  • Coordinate with academic departments in all matters related to postgraduate students.

  • Draft and prepare official correspondences related to the Graduate Studies Unit.

  • Liaise with other colleges for courses offered through external collaboration.

  • Prepare student certifications and process extension forms for their respective entities.

  • Organize and schedule classrooms in the academic system before the semester starts.

  • Answer phone calls and respond to inquiries.
