About the Development and Quality Unit
This unit is responsible for promoting a culture of quality, evaluating performance levels, implementing and following up on academic evaluation and accreditation processes, and developing and executing the college’s strategic plans. It also continuously collects data and information on quality activities within the college, and documents efforts and results across all quality and accreditation activities.
Development and Quality Unit Responsibilities
- Contribute to and promote the culture of development and quality, encouraging college staff to actively participate in quality initiatives.
- Prepare manuals, guidelines, and publications related to development and quality.
- Implement quality programs and supervise their execution.
- Provide academic, technical, and administrative support to academic departments and internal units in their quality assurance activities.
- Oversee awareness efforts for academic departments on the requirements for national and international program accreditation.
- Plan and supervise the process of obtaining academic accreditation for various college programs.
- Monitor the completion of academic files for all faculty members in the academic departments.
- Propose and implement activities that ensure quality performance within the college.
- Coordinate with the Skills Development Unit to prepare diverse training programs in the field of development and quality.
- Develop electronic databases and information systems for the college.
- Submit periodic reports on developmental programs, quality and development unit activities, and the committees under the Vice Deanship.
