About The Department of Community and Psychiatric/Mental Health Nursing

The Department of Community and Psychiatric/Mental Health Nursing is one of the four academic departments within the College of Nursing at King Saud University. It is dedicated to preparing nursing students with the knowledge, skills, and professional competencies required to deliver high-quality, evidence-based care in community and mental health settings. In addition to undergraduate education, the department participates in teaching master’s and PhD courses in community health, primary care, and psychiatric/mental health nursing. Through these programs, it contributes to the development of highly qualified specialists, educators, and researchers who advance nursing practice and scholarship locally and internationally. The goals and philosophy of the department align with the broader mission of the College of Nursing and King Saud University.
