Laboratories and Simulation Unit Responsibilities

  • Integrate simulation-based education into the training curricula for undergraduate and postgraduate students in Nursing Science and Midwifery, while enhancing the competencies of faculty and staff at all levels.

  • Participate in and support the latest evidence-based practice research in terms of simulation learning methodologies.

  • Develop plans to enhance simulation learning and to cultivate required and suggested skills based on the needs of students, faculty, and staff.

  • Establish effective communication channels to develop and promote simulation-based learning.

  • Achieve the highest quality standards consistent with excellence in organizational and educational aspects.

  • Collaborate with relevant stakeholders to implement and improve core skills, as well as teaching and learning activities using simulation.

  • Prepare the unit’s annual report summarizing activities, achievements, and future plans.
