Academic Advising Unit Responsibilities

Prepare and orient new students by introducing them to the academic system.

Monitor students’ academic performance through effective communication and continuous follow-up by the academic advisor.

Guide students academically, socially, and psychologically to prevent academic failure or address other challenges.

Assist faculty members in addressing challenges with students regarding academic performance or attendance.

Follow up on academic failure cases, assess them, and submit quarterly reports to the Vice Deanship for Academic Affairs.

Organize awareness programs each semester to introduce academic advising.

Submit quarterly achievement reports of the unit to the Vice Deanship for Academic and Educational Affairs.
