The Vice Deanship for Academic and Educational Affairs
The Vice Deanship for Academic and Educational Affairs at the College of Nursing plays an important and fundamental role in providing academic and educational support to students and faculty members in the college. The Vice Deanship for Academic and Educational Affairs also seeks, through its units and committees, to manage the educational process and work to overcome difficulties and exploit all opportunities to achieve the vision and mission of the college in the academic aspect. The Vice Deanship for Academic and Educational Affairs tasks are summarized in: supervising the implementation and development of academic programs at the college and verifying competitive educational outcomes that achieve the highest national and international educational standards for the nursing profession. The agency works to provide an appropriate educational environment and educational resources for students and faculty members that contribute to raising the level of educational outcomes. It supervises the implementation of the executive regulations and rules of the regulations for studies and examinations at King Saud University for the undergraduate level. It also supervises its affiliated units, which in turn carry out specific tasks to achieve the highest levels of academic and organizational performance, which are; the Registration and Schedules Unit, the Student Affairs Unit, the Academic Advising Unit, the Examinations Unit, the Excellence and Field Training Unit, and the Learning Resources Unit. In addition, it supervises the implementation of admission and transfer controls to and from the college and between academic departments. To achieve these tasks and their objectives, there is constant coordination with the deans of the college, the heads of departments, and the corresponding academic and administrative units at the university.
