Nursing Administration and Education Department is one of the departments of the College of Nursing at King Saud University. It focuses on preparing distinguished graduates in the fields of nursing administration and education with the application of nursing research that based on evidence - based practice. The department’s role is to provide the graduate with basic and applied skills in nursing management and education at both levels (bachelor and postgraduate studies). Graduates are expected to participate effectively in nursing leadership to provide the best quality of care for the Saudi society.
Given the importance of nursing management and education in supporting health services in the Kingdom, we seek in the department to create an appropriate educational environment for students through an active and effective education that aligns in its outputs with national and international quality standards. We in the department are always keen to keep pace with the changes in the market, and work to develop programs that keep up with the requirements of the status quo, future changes, and achieve the Kingdom’s 2030 vision. Also, we care about the faculty members of the department by creating a fair and effective work environment, constantly paying attention to their development to keep pace with the market needs, staying up to date with all innovations in the field of nursing, and encouraging them to actively participate in national and international nursing research.
